Hamilton College fell in three sets to Amherst College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference match played at Williams College on Oct. 3.
Amherst (10-3 overall, 4-1 NESCAC) won by scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-9. Hamilton (3-17, 0-3) was led by Ally Martella ’13, who recorded three kills and served two aces. Amanda Cohen ’13 was credited with a team-high 11 digs. Rachel Irizarry ‘12 added nine digs. Cecelie Pikus ’13 passed out seven assists.
The Continentals return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 6, when they host Morrisville State College for a non-conference match at 7 p.m.
