Curling Team to Co-Host College Bonspiel Feb. 12-13

Hamilton’s curling team is co-hosting the annual Utica Curling Club (UCC) College Bonspiel this weekend with SUNY Poly and Colgate at UCC, 8300 Clark Mills Rd., Whitesboro. The schools will welcome 16 teams from 12 different colleges and universities. Hamilton will field two teams. The games begin on Friday, Feb. 12, ;at 9:30 p.m., and continue throughout the day on Saturday. Curling Team Back on the Ice

Hamilton’s Curling Club is back in action with two tournaments under their belts and a number of promising underclassmen on the roster. The team has already participated in tournaments hosted by Boston University at Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, Mass. (Nov. 7-8), and by the Rochester Institute of Technology (Nov. 13-15).  More ...

Hamilton Curlers Win at Bonspiel, Headed to Nationals

Hamilton’s curling teams competed in a two-day bonspiel that they co-hosted with Colgate University at the Utica Curling Club, Feb. 13-14. As a result of winning the E event Hamilton earned enough points to qualify for the USA College Curling Nationals, which will be held at the Rochester Curling Club on March 13 to 15.  More ...

Curling Team to Co-Host College Bonspiel

Hamilton and Colgate University’s curling teams are co-hosting the annual College Bonspiel on Feb. 13-14 at the Utica Curling Club, 8300 Clark Mills Road, Whitesboro. Saturday’s individual matches begin at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., with the championship at 4:30 p.m. The tournament is free and open to the public. A live stream will be available here.  More ...

Curlers Make First Appearance in Nationals

The Hamilton curling team made its first-ever appearance at the College Curling National Championships, held March 14-16 in Blaine, Minn. Hamilton was represented by captain Meghan Doherty ’14, Tara Huggins ’14, Josh Devinney ’15 and Jake Davidson ’15.  More ...

Curling Team Bound for Nationals

Hamilton’s curling team finished the 2013-2014 season ranked 16th in U.S. College Curling Merit Point Standings, thus qualifying for Nationals which will be held March 14-16 in Blaine, Minn. Hamilton Team 1 will be competing against 15 other teams from all over the country. Team 1 members representing Hamilton are captain Meghan Doherty ’14, Tara Huggins ’14, Josh Devinney ’15 and Jake Davidson ’15.  More ...

Hamilton’s curling team is back in action with 20 members competing this season under captain Meghan Doherty '14 and president Trevor Howe ’14. The team’s season began in October and will continue until March.  More ...

Curling Team Competes in Semi-Finals in Local Tournament

Hamilton co-hosted the second annual Utica Curling Club Collegiate Bonspiel on Feb. 24-25 at the Utica Curling Club.  Thirteen teams from Boston University, Bowling Green, Colgate, Harvard, MIT, RIT, RPI, SUNY Binghamton, UMass, and U Penn competed along with three teams from Hamilton.  More ...

Curling Team Takes Silver in Regional Competition

This past weekend, the Hamilton College Curling team traveled to Bowling Green, Ohio, to compete in the Bowling Green Regional Bonspiel.  Two teams from Hamilton competed in the event.  More ...
