Four Hamilton students participated in the 10th annual Russian Language “Olympics,” held at Syracuse University on April 17. Ethan Ayres, Stephanie Hudon, Grace Lee (all ’13), and Alexander De Moulin ’12 joined undergraduates from Hobart-William Smith, SUNY-Binghamton, Syracuse University, Union College and the United States Military Academy at West Point for a friendly competition in various Russian language activities. Entrepreneur Club Aims to Save Students Money on Books
“We’re confident that it will save students some money,” says Jason Mariasis ‘12, a member of the Hamilton Entrepreneur Club, as he loads the club’s brainchild on the laptop screen. The website’s interface is simple, sleek and intuitive. Emerson Project Film Considers Black WWII Veterans
A documentary film screening of Fighting For America: The Reflections of Black WWII Veterans, a film produced by Susan Perham ’12, will take place on Friday, April 30, at 4 p.m., in the Bradford Auditorium (formerly known as the Kirner-Johnson Auditorium, KJ 125). The film was produced as part of Perham’s summer 2009 Emerson Fellowship titled “Oneida County’s African American WWII Veterans,” which she worked on under the advisement of Professor of History Esther Kanipe. Jennifer Whitman '10 Will Spend Year in China Through Fulbright Grant
Jennifer Whitman ’10 has been awarded a Fulbright grant to China. Through her project, she will work with faculty at the University of Sichuan Law School in Chengdu, China, to examine Chinese legal aid for female migrant workers. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals and artists to study abroad for one academic year. More ...

Senior Art Show 2010 on Exhibit at Emerson Gallery
Senior Art Show 2010, a presentation of works created by 10 art majors, will open at the Emerson Gallery on Friday, April 30. An opening reception will be held from 4-6 p.m. The exhibition runs through Saturday, May 22, and is free and open to the public. Families of graduating seniors are invited to attend the graduation reception on May 22, from 1-3 p.m.  More ...
