Chaplaincy
Welcome to the Spiritual Life Community at Hamilton. The students and staff of the chaplaincy invite us all — from our various viewpoints and inherited religious traditions and spiritual practices — to deepen our sense of the meaning and purpose we discern for our lives, as individuals and as members of this community and engaged citizens of our world.
We acknowledge that we live and work on the sacred ancestral lands of the Oneida Indians and seek to embrace that complex history and consequently pursue greater commitment to cross-cultural education, equality, and understanding.
Mission Statement
The Hamilton College Chaplaincy exists to encourage — for our campus community and alums — religious, spiritual, cultural and moral worldview identity and diversity, both through building welcoming, inclusive community, and also engaging individual development through teaching, counseling and social justice experiences.
