Utica Academy of Science Tutoring

The Utica Academy of Science is a charter school serving children and teens in the Utica community from kindergarten till they graduate high school. With a strong emphasis on graduation and college, Hamilton Students not only act as a tutor, but also as a role model to the middle schoolers we help. Tutors go to the middle school and tutor 7th or 8th graders in Math, once a week, for one hour. Our program works to create a volunteer schedule that works for busy Hamilton students. We are looking for excited and outgoing tutors who want to make a difference in their new community. Volunteers are provided transportation to UASCS to tutor 1 hour every week (not including driving time).
