The Utica Academy of Science tutoring program aims to help facilitate middle school classes and study hall sessions in Math. Hamilton Students tutor 7th and 8th grade students at the Utica Academy of Science Charter School for one hour a week.

The Utica Academy of Science is a charter school serving children and teens in the Utica community from kindergarten till they graduate high school. With a strong emphasis on graduation and college, Hamilton Students not only act as a tutor, but also as a role model to the middle schoolers we help. Tutors go to the middle school and tutor 7th or 8th graders in Math, once a week, for one hour. Our program works to create a volunteer schedule that works for busy Hamilton students. We are looking for excited and outgoing tutors who want to make a difference in their new community. Volunteers are provided transportation to UASCS to tutor 1 hour every week (not including driving time).
