Each year, approximately 30 newcomers join the faculty. We've compiled a guide for new faculty members that contains everything from how to access class lists and submit grades to advising resources and academic support services for students, to teaching and research support for faculty.
Dean of Faculty Office
Our faculty members are active and accomplished scholars that demonstrate extraordinary commitment to and skill in teaching undergraduates. Each year, members of the faculty produce an average of 350 papers, books, articles, exhibits, etc.
Reporting to the Dean are academic support services, Athletics, Institutional Research and Assessment, Off-Campus Study, Opportunity Programs, the Registrar and the Wellin Museum.
The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing and reporting historical and current data about Hamilton College and peer institutions to support college planning, assessment, and overall effectiveness.
