Welcome Alex Rihm, new FYE Librarian!

The division of LITS welcomes Alexandra Rihm, our new First Year Experience Librarian, to Hamilton College.  Alex joins us from Seattle Washington, where she helped lead Information Literacy instruction for first year students in the University of Washington’s writing program.

At Hamilton, Alex's focus is on the success of first year students. Her role includes teaching library instruction sessions within the First Year Program and collaborating with key partners that support the first year experience.

Originally from Washington, D.C., Alex is thrilled to be back East, and also near her grandmother who lives in Buffalo, N.Y.  Alex enjoys the outdoors and looks forward to exploring beautiful central New York (and learning to forage for wild mushrooms).  Welcome to Hamilton, Alex!
