Alumni Council Nominations for 2025 Alumni Trustees

The Hamilton College Board of Trustees is composed of up to 42 voting members, 12 of whom are Alumni Trustees elected for four-year terms by members of the Alumni Association. The Board meets quarterly and each Trustee also participates in the business of assigned committees. Directors’ fees and travel reimbursement are not available for service on the Board of Trustees. The terms of three Alumni Trustees expire annually.

Each fall the Nominations Committee of the Alumni Council recommends to the Council a slate of candidates to succeed the retiring Alumni Trustees. The Council then considers the slate for presentation to all alumni as the Council's nominees.

In anticipation of its deliberations at its fall meeting, the Nominations Committee welcomes for consideration suggestions of possible Alumni Trustee candidates from members of the Alumni Council. Although Alumni Council members may suggest more than one person, please complete a separate form for each suggestion.

Please suggest alumni candidates who you know have demonstrated leadership in their professions, and as engaged volunteers for Hamilton and in their community. To assist the committee, please be as specific as possible with your information.

We request that you only submit names of individuals who are currently involved with Hamilton for the role of trustee. Names of others you believe we should more intentionally involve with the College can be sent separately to Jacke Jones at jrjones@hamilton.edu.
