Resources for Remote Learning
LITS Virtual Student Support Center
To help students navigate remote learning, LITS has created a virtual Student Support Center staffed remotely by LITS students workers — Research Tutors (RTs) and Digital Media Tutors (DMTs) — who are prepared to answer questions ranging from how to use Zoom to how to find electronic resources or accurately cite sources.
The Student Support Center will be available Monday through Thursday from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 to 8:30 p.m. During these hours, email askus@hamilton.edu or engage with the chat feature on the LITS homepage to communicate directly with a research tutor. If you call 315-859-4735, leave a message and a tutor will reach out promptly via email.
Additionally, students can engage online during these hours with a DMT in a virtual face-to-face meeting using Zoom. You can connect at https://hamilton.zoom.us/j/3889850000.
Feel free to peruse the LITS “Help With ~ Off-Campus Study Resources” page for updates on general resources. Here you’ll find an online guide that outlines the library’s research services and electronic resources, as well as important resources you may find helpful when studying away from campus.
