The 1812 Leadership Circle is a dedicated and generous group of alumni, parents and friends of the College who make an annual gift of at least $2,500 -- providing more than 90 percent of total giving to Hamilton and inspiring others to deepen their philanthropy at all levels.
Leadership Circle members may take advantage of special opportunities to engage with the College throughout the year, including events and receptions with other 1812 members. They are also offered special updates on programs and activities at Hamilton, often from the College's senior administrators and volunteers.
Given at one time, or in installments throughout the fund year, a donor's total annual contributions to Hamilton, including matching gifts, count toward membership. GOLD members are invited to join at introductory levels: Alumni 1-4 years after graduation qualify for membership with gifts of $1,000 or more; alumni 5-9 years after graduation qualify with gifts of $1,500 or more.
Annual Fund support provide a significant source of financial aid. Gifts of $25,000 and more constitute roughly the equivalent of the average Hamilton financial aid package. In honor of donors at that level, Hamilton names an 1812 Leadership Circle Scholar.
