The 1812 Leadership Circle recognizes Hamilton's most generous supporters whose contributions form a living endowment that goes directly to the heart of a Hamilton education, supporting the overall quality of students, faculty and the environment in which they live and work.
Throughout the past two centuries, Hamilton's mission to educate youth "in the learned languages and liberal arts and sciences" has been achieved thanks to a remarkable legacy of support from alumni, parents and friends.
Membership in Hamilton's 1812 Leadership Circle acknowledges the importance of leadership contributions and provides special opportunities to engage with the College, including invitations to gala events such as the 1812 Leadership Circle Weekend held each December in Manhattan. Other benefits include special updates on Hamilton activities and opportunities to connect with the College throughout the year.
You can join this esteemed group of leadership donors by making an annual gift of $2,500* or more. Give once or in installments throughout the year; the total of your contributions, including matching gifts, will count toward your membership level.
Membership for the Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD group) begins at $1,000.
Leadership support from GOLD members is especially meaningful to the College, as these alumni set the tone for future giving and reflect the early dedication of Hamilton's most recent graduates.
Unrestricted gifts provide a significant source of financial aid. Gifts of $25,000 and more constitute roughly the equivalent of the average Hamilton financial aid package. In honor of donors at that level, Hamilton names an 1812 Leadership Circle Scholar.
