The 1812 Leadership Circle is a group of the College's most dedicated and generous alumni, parents and friends -- providing more than 90 percent of total giving to Hamilton and inspiring others to deepen their philanthropy at all levels. These contributions form a living endowment that goes directly to the heart of a Hamilton education, supporting the quality of students, faculty and the environment in which they live and work.
Leadership Circle members take advantage of special opportunities to engage with the College throughout the year, including events and receptions with other 1812 members. They are also offered special updates on programs and activities at Hamilton, often from the College's senior administrators and volunteers.
Membership in the 1812 Leadership Circle begins with an annual gift of $2,500 or more. GOLD members are invited to join at introductory levels: the classes of 2010-2014 qualify for membership with gifts of $1,000 or more; the classes of 2009-2005 qualify with gifts of $1,500 or more. Given at one time, or in installments throughout the fund year, a donor's total annual contributions to Hamilton, including matching gifts, count toward membership.
