The fellowships and scholarships program at Hamilton College is designed to introduce students to the many undergraduate and post-graduate opportunities available to them. National awards provide opportunities for international study, research, and independent projects; extended leadership opportunities; graduate school funding; and undergraduate partial funding.

Each year Hamilton students compete favorably for some of the country's most prestigious and competitive national fellowships and scholarships.

Leah Wolf '14 Awarded Fulbright ETA To Germany

Leah Wolf, a candidate for May graduation from Hamilton, has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Germany. She is a computer science major and German minor at Hamilton and studied abroad at Universität Tübingen in Germany in 2013.  More ...

Seniors Mackenzie Theobald and Evan Warnock Awarded Bristol Fellowships

Hamilton seniors Mackenzie (Mattie) Theobald and Evan Warnock have been awarded the college’s Bristol Fellowship. Theobald will pursue a project titled “Artists’ Statements: Arts Education at the Intersection of Policy and Culture” in Australia, the Netherlands, Philippines, India and Namibia. Warnock’s project, “Space Matters: How the Spatial and Architectural Design of Schools Affects Students,” will take him to Finland, India, Japan and Uganda.  More ...

Emma Teach ’16 Awarded Coccia Foundation Scholarship

Emma Teach ’16 has been awarded a Coccia Foundation Scholarship for study abroad in Italy this summer. The Coccia Foundation was established in 1994 by Cavaliere Joseph Coccia, Jr. and his wife Elda as an organization dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Italian culture, with a particular emphasis on promoting the rich Italian cultural heritage among younger generations at the college level.  More ...

Huy Ho ’15 and Mandy Lin (Wong) ’15 have been awarded Gilman International Scholarship Program awards for undergraduate study abroad. Ho plans to study in Vietnam through the School for International Training (SIT) and Lin will study in Denmark through the Danish Institute of Study Abroad, Copenhagen.  More ...

Nathaniel Livingston ’14 and Alyson Raynor ’14, candidates for May graduation from Hamilton, have been awarded prestigious Thomas J. Watson Fellowships for 2014-15. Livingston’s project is titled “Performing Culture: Contemporary Expressions of Oral and Musical Traditions,” and  Raynor’s is “The Path of Rehabilitation and Reintegration: Exploring the Lives of Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors.”  More ...
