The fellowships and scholarships program at Hamilton College is designed to introduce students to the many undergraduate and post-graduate opportunities available to them. National awards provide opportunities for international study, research, and independent projects; extended leadership opportunities; graduate school funding; and undergraduate partial funding.

Each year Hamilton students compete favorably for some of the country's most prestigious and competitive national fellowships and scholarships.

Isabella Schoning ’16 Awarded Gilman Scholarship for Study in Russia

Isabella Schoning ’16 has been chosen as a recipient of the Gilman International Scholarship Program award. The award will fund Schoning’s fall 2014 semester abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia, through the Bard-Smolny Program.  More ...

Meredith Nuber ’14 Awarded Fulbright ETA to Germany

Meredith Nuber ’14 has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Germany, where she will teach English. A German studies and world politics major at Hamilton, she studied at Ludwig Maximilians University in Germany in 2013, and at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, in 2012.  More ...

Robert Hayden ’14 Awarded Fulbright Grant to Copenhagen

Robert Hayden ’14 has been awarded a research/study Fulbright Grant to Copenhagen, Denmark. He will spend the 2014-15 academic year studying epidemiology and the development of medicines, and apply that coursework to biomedical research with the Copenhagen Hepatitis C (CO-HEP) Program group under the direction of Professor Jens Bukh. Seniors Mackenzie Theobald and Evan Warnock Awarded Bristol Fellowships

Hamilton seniors Mackenzie (Mattie) Theobald and Evan Warnock have been awarded the college’s Bristol Fellowship. Theobald will pursue a project titled “Artists’ Statements: Arts Education at the Intersection of Policy and Culture” in Australia, the Netherlands, Philippines, India and Namibia. Warnock’s project, “Space Matters: How the Spatial and Architectural Design of Schools Affects Students,” will take him to Finland, India, Japan and Uganda.  More ...

Emma Teach ’16 has been awarded a Coccia Foundation Scholarship for study abroad in Italy this summer. The Coccia Foundation was established in 1994 by Cavaliere Joseph Coccia, Jr. and his wife Elda as an organization dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Italian culture, with a particular emphasis on promoting the rich Italian cultural heritage among younger generations at the college level.  More ...

Huy Ho ’15 and Mandy Lin (Wong) ’15 have been awarded Gilman International Scholarship Program awards for undergraduate study abroad.
