The Student Fellowships Coordinator's Office is located on the third floor of Bristol Center.

The fellowships and scholarships program at Hamilton College is designed to introduce students to the many undergraduate and post-graduate opportunities available to them. National awards provide opportunities for international study, research, and independent projects; extended leadership opportunities; graduate school funding; and undergraduate partial funding.

Each year Hamilton students compete favorably for some of the country's most prestigious and competitive national fellowships and scholarships.

Kayla Cody ’15 and Kiana Sosa ’15 Awarded Bristol Fellowships

Kiana “Kiki” Sosa ’15 and Kayla Cody ’15, both Boston Posse Foundation scholars, have been awarded Hamilton’s prestigious Bristol Fellowship. The fellowship is designed to encourage Hamilton students to experience the richness of the world by living outside the United States for one year and studying an area of great personal interest. Cody and Sosa will each receive a $30,000 award.  More ...

Gretha Suarez ’15 Awarded Fulbright Research Grant to India

Gretha Suarez ’15 has been awarded a Fulbright Research Grant to India. Through her project, Gender and Public Space: Politics of Women’s Safety in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, she will spend the 2015-16 academic year studying how urban infrastructure regulates women’s presence in Mumbai and Ahmedabad’s public spaces.  These cities provide a platform to examine the conditions of women’s safety and rights to public space by comparing infrastructure that facilitates access.  More ...

Caroline Grunewald, a candidate for May graduation from Hamilton, has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Germany. Lisbeth DaBramo ’15 and Erika Marte ’15 Awarded Thomas J. Watson Fellowships

Lisbeth “Liz” DaBramo and Erika Marte, both candidates for May graduation from Hamilton, will travel the world  as Thomas J. Watson Fellows for 2015-16. DaBramo’s project is titled “Water Ways: An Exploration of Water Sustainability Strategies,” and Marte’s is “The Faces and Functions of Educational Volunteerism in the 21st Century.”  More ...

Melanie Miller, a candidate for May graduation from Hamilton, has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Turkey. A psychology major at Hamilton, she studied abroad in Durban, South Africa in 2014. 

According to the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Hamilton was a top producer of U.S. Fulbright students in 2014-15.  More ...
