Second semester is upon us, and HOC is gearing up for its busiest season! With the recent snows, our stock of cross-country skis and snowshoes have been out in the glens around campus with students. We offered a 5-day Winter Camping Instructor Course over Winter Break, and these new leaders are eager to lead their own trips in the coming months. We are offering snoeshow and cross-country ski clinics in the Glen as well as Telemark ski instruction on the nearby Toggenburg Mountain. Every Wednesday afternoon, HOC provides a bus to Toggenburg for any interested members of campus. In February, HOC is bringing the Banff Mountain Film Festival to Hamilton, and there will be trips to Utah, Vermont, and the Adirondacks over Spring Break.
