  • Snow – and plenty of it – came to the Hill just in time for Hamilton’s annual FebFest. Just when it looked like FebFest activities would be centered indoors, The Outing Club encouraged everyone to get outdoors on Valentine’s Day and take part in a snowshoe relay.

  • Just in time for the start of FebFest 2019, Mother Nature dumped several inches of snow on the Hill.  Events kicked off on Feb. 12 with Stan Kolonko of the Ice Farm in Syracuse creating an ice sculpture of a snowflake on Sadove Terrace.

  • FebFest 2017 offered something for everyone... even snow. As a heavy snow blanketed the area on Sunday night many students took part in the Outing Club’s moonlight snowshoe through Root Glen to kick off the week's festivities.

  • Magic Man, an electronic rock band from New England, visited the Annex on Feb. 18 for a CAB Acoustic Coffeehouse performance. Magic Man’s show was a highlight of this year’s FebFest.

  • Jared Mandelbaum ’18, Mr. HOC, was the victor in the annual Mr. Hamilton competition, held on Feb. 17 as part of FebFest. He prevailed over Mr. Track, Colin Horgan ’19, Mr. Psi U, Alan Yecies ’17, Mr. Philanthropy Committee, Jose Olivares ’16, Mr. Culinary Society, Thomas Hoffman ’16, Mr. HAVOC, Alan Yeh ’18 and Mr. Buffers, Sean Rose ’19.

  • FebFest, Hamilton’s annual celebration of winter, is underway with events planned each day this week.  Monday’s schedule includes a local beverage tasting in The Little Pub, a Grammy viewing party and a candlelit snowshoe walk through Root Glen.

  • FebFest’s annual Mr. Hamilton competition attracted a large crowd to the Annex on Feb. 11.  Mr. Football, Lashawn Russell-Ware ’17, was crowned Mr. Hamilton from a field of seven contestants.  Nearly $900 was raised at the event to benefit Alternative Spring Break.

  • In keeping with this winter’s weather pattern of snow/no snow, the 2013 FebFest theme was “Meltdown.” The annual winter tradition took place Feb. 9-16 with events that included a CAB Acoustic Coffeehouse featuring Josh Ritter, CAB Comedy with Michael Ian Black, the 20th annual Chili Cookoff and the popular Mr. Hamilton contest.
