It's called beer pong, and at Dartmouth College a place where traditions die hard -- it has been a part of fraternity life for at least 40 years, as hallowed as rush or Winter Carnival... The debate about Greek houses is ultimately about much more than beer drinking. It is about basic questions of the culture of college campuses at the end of the century... Hamilton College, in Clinton, N.Y., following the same path (as Dartmouth), recently began requiring all students to live on campus, effectively shutting down the Greek houses.
