Cemetery a Focus of Pranks
October 26, 1999
"Even though we are sure there are no ghosts," said Douglas Raybeck, a Hamilton College professor, "On Hallows Eve, some people believe souls come back to life from the dead. Cemeteries are key places to have that happen. That is where the bodies are buried." Anthropology professor Raybeck says on Halloween some people act on their beliefs and often go to a cemetery. It's a night of trick or treat... a night of disguise.. a night to engage in pranks. The trick is to know where and when to draw the line.
