By day, David Kleinbaum '62 is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. By night, he acts the part of a jazz flutist. As the bandleader for the Moonlighters Jazz Band, located in Atlanta, GA, David plays in an eight piece jazz band with a female vocalist. His fellow musicians have heavy credentials as they have played with notable musicians Stan Kenton, Herbie Mann and Natalie Cole. David's next gig will occur on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Red Light Café, located at 553 Amsterdam Avenue.   After spending an evening with the Atlanta Alumni Association for the annual Alexander Hamilton Birthday Party in early January, David was encouraged to invite his Hamilton friends and family to the 8 p.m. performance. The Red Light Cafe has a $9 cover charge, but for live entertainment, David claims "(it's) such a deal!"
