The Hamilton College Department of Music presents masterclasses with soprano Rebecca Karpoff and pianist Fred Karpoff onSaturday, April 11, 1998from 1:00 - 4:00 pm in Schambach Center for Music and the PerformingArts. Ms. Karpoff will work with singers in Wellin Hall and Mr. Karpoff willwork with student accompanists and singers in Schambach 201. These classes arefree and open to the public.

Soprano Rebecca Karpoff regularly appears in concerts and recital, mostrecently togreat acclaim with members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Her operaticrolesinclude the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro and Fiordiligi in Cosifan Tutte.

As soloist with orchestra, she has been featured with the Syracuse Symphony,the Baltimore Symphony and the Rochester Philharmonic. Currently on thefaculties of Syracuse University and the Eastman School of Music, Ms. Karpoff receivedher Doctor of Music degree from Eastman. She has also studied a
