Faculty of the Hamilton Collegemusic department will present a concert featuring vocal and instrumentalperformances on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 8:30 p.m. The event will take place inWellin Hall of the Schambach Center and is free and open to the generalpublic.

The program will include Aaron Copland's Quiet City; Parto! a tuben mio by Mozart; Sonata for solo cello, op. 8, by Kodaly; andArioso for amplified violin and electric percussion by Patrick Long,interim director of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. Works by Brahms,Haydn and Schumann will also be performed.

Faculty participants include Daniel Carno, Holly Eckert, Richard Eckert, AnitaFirman, Steven Heyman, Lauralyn Kolb, Rick Montalbano, Colleen Roberts Pellman,Barbara Rabin, John Raschella, Monk Rowe, Sara Shaft, Kazuko Tanosaki, TinaToglia and Joyce Ucci .
