HAMILTON MUSIC FACULTY TO PERFORM

Faculty of the Hamilton College
music department will present a concert featuring vocal and instrumental
performances on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 8:30 p.m. The event will take place in
Wellin Hall of the Schambach Center and is free and open to the general
public.
The program will include Aaron Copland's Quiet City; Parto! a tu ben mio by Mozart; Sonata for solo cello, op. 8, by Kodaly; and Arioso for amplified violin and electric percussion by Patrick Long, interim director of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. Works by Brahms, Haydn and Schumann will also be performed.
Faculty participants include Daniel Carno, Holly Eckert, Richard Eckert, Anita Firman, Steven Heyman, Lauralyn Kolb, Rick Montalbano, Colleen Roberts Pellman, Barbara Rabin, John Raschella, Monk Rowe, Sara Shaft, Kazuko Tanosaki, Tina Toglia and Joyce Ucci .
