A lecture entitled "From Metaphor to Metastases: Breast Cancer as Science/Social Metaphor," will be the featured topic of a Brown Bag Lunch program on Monday, Sept. 21 from 12-12:50 p.m. at the Afro-Latin Cultural Center, College Hill Road. Presentations will be made by Vivyan Adair, Hamilton assistant professor of women's studies, and Laura Malloy, Jane Watson Irwin Chair, women's studies.

A panel featuring local physicians will discuss "How Do We Treat Breast Cancer Today," on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. in the Red Pit at the Kirner-Johnson building. Local physicians participating include Dr. Barbara Healy, oncologist; Dr. Nancy Shaheen, radiologist; Dr. Faina Sherman, radiation oncologist; and Dr. Geoffrey Simon, surgeon. A reception will follow.
