Director of Donor Relations Pam Havens presented a session at the 2009 International Conference of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) that took place in Baltimore, Dec. 7- 9 Havens’ session focused on steps that both new and seasoned professionals can take to help ensure the success and long-term vitality of their programs. She also received special recognition as ADRP’s outgoing vice president, having served in that capacity for the past five years.
Founded in 2004, the ADRP draws its membership from education, health care, fine arts and other nonprofit fields. Current membership totals more than 600 individuals from throughout the United States, Canada and overseas. ADRP is the authoritative organization and advocate for the donor relations and stewardship profession, supporting the development community by promoting the professional status of donor relations and stewardship offices through educational, professional development and networking opportunities.
