John L. Murad, Jr. ’80, P’19 has been selected for Upstate New York’s Super Lawyers in 2015 for the seventh time since 2007. This service names lawyers in the top 5% of the field who are chosen by a process of peer nominations and evaluations in addition to independent research.
Murad is a partner at Hancock Estabrook, LLP, a leading Upstate New York law firm; has successfully tried cases at the state and federal level for over 30 years; and concentrates his practice on health care defense, commercial disputes, and commercial litigation.
While at Hamilton, Murad was a Government and History double major and a member of Chi Psi Fraternity. After graduating, he obtained his juris doctor from Georgetown University in 1983. One of his children, Matt Murad, is a member of the Class of 2019.
