Men's golfer an All-America scholar
Corbett '09 makes list for second straight year

Hamilton College men's golfer Jeff Corbett '09 (Stoneham, Mass./Stoneham HS) has been selected a 2009 NCAA Division III Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Corbett is one of 41 golfers on the All-America scholar list. An individual must be a junior or senior academically and competed in at least two full years at the collegiate level to be eligible for All-America scholar status. He must have an 18-hole stroke average under 79.0 in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better.
Corbett's stroke average was 76.86 for Hamilton, which finished third in the 2009 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) championships. He shot better than 80 a total of 14 times, including two rounds of 70 in the fall.
Corbett earned a spot on the 2008 NESCAC all-conference team as he finished second at the NESCAC championship qualifier with rounds of 70 and 72. He also made the 2008 NESCAC fall all-academic team.
