Two Hamilton College men's golfers have been selected to the 2009 NCAA Division III PING all-region team for the Northeast region by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Brad Roche '11 (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y./Taft School [Conn.]), who was named to the Division III all-freshman team in 2008, is on the all-region team for the second year in a row. Jeff Corbett '09 (Stoneham, Mass./Stoneham HS) is a first-time member of the all-region team. A total of 12 golfers from schools located in New England and New York comprised the team.

Roche led Hamilton with a stroke average of 76.43 during the fall 2008 and spring 2009 seasons. Out of 21 rounds, Roche carded a 79 or better 18 times. He tied his career-best with a 72 in the first round of the 2008 Williams College Fall Invitational.

Roche earned a spot on the 2008 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) all-conference team based on his performance at the conference championship qualifier. He captured second team honors as he finished in ninth place out of 50 golfers.

Corbett's stroke average was 76.86 for Hamilton, which finished third in the 2009 NESCAC championships. He shot better than 80 a total of 14 times, including two rounds of 70 in the fall.
