2012 Division III All-America Team

Leanos was one of four attackmen named to the 16-member first team. He is the only first team All-American in program history. Jack Newton '06 was the last Hamilton player to earn All-America honors after he made the honorable mention list in 2006. Leanos is the eighth Hamilton lacrosse player to make the All-America team.

Leanos was a unanimous selection to the 2012 NESCAC all-conference first team, and was named NESCAC Player of the Year. He tied for third in the conference with 21 assists, tied for fifth with 50 points and tied for eighth with 29 goals. Leanos was selected to play in the Division III Senior North-South game at Harvard University on Friday, May 25. He won the 2012 Jack B. Riffle Award as the outstanding Hamilton male athlete in the senior class.

Leanos finished his career in fourth place on Hamilton's all-time list with 179 points, and is tied for fourth with 92 assists. He also scored 87 goals. Leanos was a three-time Liberty League all-league selection, including a first team honor in 2011. He was the 2009 Liberty League Rookie of the Year. The Continentals competed in the Liberty League for lacrosse from 1996 to 2011.

The 2011 and 2012 team captain helped lead the Continentals to a 9-6 overall record, including a 5-5 mark in the conference. Hamilton reached the NESCAC Championship quarterfinals in the Continentals' first year in the conference. It was Hamilton's first postseason appearance since 2006.
