Hamilton College's Marcus Dormanen '10 (Hopkins, Minn./Breck School) has been selected to the 2009 academic all-district men's soccer team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Dormanen is one of 11 players on the District I College Division's first team. The District I College Division includes all NCAA Division II and III schools located in New York and the six New England states. To be considered for the all-academic teams, the athlete must have reached sophomore academic eligibility and have a grade point average of 3.30 or better.

Dormanen plays on defense for the Continentals. He has a double major in Chinese and economics. He has two goals and one assist in 13 games this year. Hamilton finished the regular season with a 9-4-1 overall record. The Continentals made the Liberty League tournament as the third seed with a 5-2-0 league record, and play at Hobart College in a semifinal game on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
