Men's soccer shut out at No. 11 Williams

Hamilton College fell to nationally ranked No. 11 Williams College 3-0 in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) game at Williams' Renzie Lamb Field in Williamstown, Mass., on Sept. 14.

The Ephs (2-0-0 overall, 2-0-0 NESCAC) jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the eighth minute.  Williams scored two second-half goals off restarts.  Hamilton (0-1-1 , 0-1-1 NESCAC ) suffered its first NESCAC loss.

Goalkeeper Eric Boole '13 played all 90 minutes for the Continentals and finished with two saves.  Williams was credited with nine shots to Hamilton's six.  The Ephs also held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Hamilton hosts Connecticut College for another NESCAC game on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 2:30 p.m.
