Dean of Faculty Patrick Reynolds announced that Professor of Psychology Penny Yee has accepted the position of Associate Dean of Faculty, with particular responsibilities for curricular matters, for a three-year term starting July 1.

Yee is currently chair of the Committee on Academic Policy and has served on Academic Standing, Library, Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning, and Student Affairs committees, as well as the Harassment Grievance, Institutional Review, Judicial, and Scientific Misconduct Review boards.

She earned her Ph.D. in human experimental psychology from the University of Oregon.  Yee conducts research in the areas of cognition and individual differences, covering a wide range of topics from basic attentional and language processes to personality correlates of performance.
