Hamilton College women's rower Holly Bailey ’11 (Gwynedd Valley, Pa./Springside School) recently competed in the U.S. Under 23 National Team Trials, and former Hamilton men's rower Willy Cowles ’09 took part in the U.S. Elite Nationals.

 

Cowles finished second in the men’s heavyweight single for Potomac Boat Club C on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J., on June 26. Cowles recorded a time of 7 minutes, 05.219 seconds. The GMS Rowing Center A entry took first place in 7:02.348.

 

Bailey and Philadelphia's Pennsylvania Athletic Club claimed third place in the women’s lightweight quadruple sculls at Mercer Lake in New Jersey on June 25. Bailey’s entry finished with a time of 7:00.724.
