Stephanie Plaza scored three goals to power Scranton to a 4-3 victory over Hamilton. The Continentals opened the scoring at 31:08 on an unassisted goal by Sarah Wald. However, two Scranton goals before halftime gave the Royals a 2-1 lead. Hamilton tied the game with 21:20 remaining on a goal by Cassie Gaoitti. After again falling behind, Judy Whitaker scored for Hamilton to even the score at three. But, with 9:07 remaining, Plaza scored the game-winner to give Scranton the 4-3 win.
