Lauren McCormick recorded game highs of 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead Union College to a 64-46 win over Hamilton College in a Liberty League women's basketball game at Union's Viniar Athletic Center on Feb. 5.

The Dutchwomen (12-6 overall, 7-3 Liberty) remained in sole possession of first place in the league. Union took a 3-0 lead and never relinquished it. The Dutchwomen owned a 30-20 advantage at the break, and were up by as many as 21 points in the second half at 53-32 with 7:44 left.

McCormick went 10-for-15 at the free-throw line, and was 6 of 9 from the floor. She pulled down seven of her 10 boards on the defensive end. It was her seventh double-double of the season and fifth in the last eight games. Marissa Ray added 12 points as she was a perfect 4-for-4 at the line. Leah Pepe had 10 points and was also 4-for-4 at the line. Mary Donohue led the Dutchwomen with five assists and three steals.

Union shot 35 percent from the floor but had another big day on the glass. The Dutchwomen held a 44-23 rebounding advantage.

Hamilton (7-10, 1-8) was led by Madie Harlem '13, who scored 12 points. Lisa Olszewski '11 tallied a season-high 11 to go with three blocks, and Blue Sanders '13 had a game-high six assists. Sanders is averaging 6.25 assists in the last four games.

The Continentals host William Smith College for another league game on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
