Madie Harlem '13 scored 23 points to lead Hamilton College to a 77-56 win against Rochester Institute of Technology in RIT's Tiger Tip-Off Tournament at Clark Gym on Nov. 20.
Harlem added seven rebounds, six assists and three steals as Hamilton won its season opener. She was the 2009-10 Liberty League rookie of the year.
The Continentals held a 48-29 advantage in rebounds and held the Tigers to 39 percent shooting from the field. Hamilton led 41-30 at the half after the Continentals shot 53 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.
Dani Feigin '14 chipped in 14 points in her first collegiate action. Eliza Howe '13 scored 11 points, Lisa Olszewski '11 grabbed a team-high eight rebounds off the bench and Isabel Pagliaccio '14 blocked four shots. Olszewski, Claire Hunsinger '13 and Kim Goidell '13 all added eight points.
Hamilton takes on Albany College of Pharmacy on the final day of the tournament on Sunday, Nov. 21.
