Hamilton College women's crew competed in an Eastern College Athletic Conference championship regatta that was plagued by high winds on May 9 and 10 and eventually canceled during the second day in Camden, N.J.

The novice eight finished second in its heat to qualify for the grand final, but the regatta was canceled after the final heat of the men's second varsity eight on Sunday morning due to unsafe rowing conditions on the Cooper River. Hamilton recorded a time of 7:34.421 on the 2,000-meter course on Sunday. Worcester Polytechnic Institute was first in 7:31.109.

The varsity eight placed fifth with a time of 7:33.51 in Saturday's first heat. Williams College took first place in 6:36.79. Hamilton went on to place fifth again in Sunday's fourth semifinal with a better time of 7:22.718. Skidmore College was first with a time of 7:05.585. A second varsity eight never competed.

Sophie Breene '12 was coxswain for the varsity eight. The rest of the lineup included Kendall Scott '10 at stroke, Jenn Anderson '10 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Holly Bailey '12, Erika Desmond '12, Spencer Gulbronson '12, Sarah Weatherall '12, Allie Boyaris '12 and Helen Quigley '10.

Hanna Kahrmann-Zadak '12 was coxswain for the novice eight. The rest of the lineup included Izzy Cannell '11 at stroke, Annika Treyball '12 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): McKayla Dunfey '12, Sarah Kelley '12, Elizabeth Rumelin '12, Antonia Villa '12, Virginia Slattery '12 and Katie Peterson '12.
