Hamilton College tied for 13th place out of 15 teams at the Mount Holyoke College Invitational, which was held at The Orchards Golf Course in South Hadley, Mass., on Sept. 22 and 23.

RESULTS

Anne Govern '15 carded an 87 on Sunday -- Hamilton's best round of the weekend -- and tied for 40th place out of 88 golfers with a 36-hole total of 177. Gillian Dudeck '13 posted an 88 in the second round for a two-day total of 183. The Orchards played to a par of 72 and measured 5,845 yards.

The Continentals' four-person team total was 405 on Saturday. Hamilton shaved 28 strokes off that score for 377 on Sunday and a grand total of 782 for the tournament.

Williams College captured the team title with a team score of 647. Division II Merrimack College and Division I Wagner College tied for second place just four strokes back. The field also included Division I Holy Cross. Amherst College's Elizabeth Monty was the individual medalist with a 4-over-par 148.

The Continentals compete in the Middlebury College Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30.
