Hamilton College's Holly Bailey '12 (Gwynedd Valley, Pa./Springside School) and Antonia Villa '12 (Peapack, N.J./Bernards HS) were selected to the 2012 NESCAC women's rowing all-conference team on May 17.

The two 10-member squads are comprised of individuals from the eight rowing programs based on the finish at the NESCAC championships, which were held in conjunction with the 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championships/National Invitational Collegiate Regatta on May 11.

Bailey was placed on the first team. She is a three-year letter winner and rowed in the seven-seat for the varsity eight this spring.

Villa earned second team honors. She is a four-year letter winner, and rowed at the stroke position and in the six-seat for the varsity eight.

Bailey and Villa helped Hamilton to a second place finish in the varsity eight petite final at the 2012 ECAC championships. The Continentals finished third in their preliminary heat and turned in the fifth-fastest qualifying time out of 19 entries with a time of 6:46.399. Bailey and Villa were both members of Hamilton's open four entry that finished second of 33 boats at the 2011 Head of the Charles Regatta.

Hamilton ended its season ranked 10th in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division III Top 15 poll, and was third in the NCAA New York Region poll. The varsity eight finished with a No. 3 ranking in the New York Region.
