Hamilton College's Erica Dressler '09 (Farmington, Conn./Miss Porters School) has been selected to the 2008 Academic all-District Women's Soccer Team for District 1 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Dressler is one of 11 players on the District 1 first team from NCAA Division II and III schools located in New England and New York State. She made the second team in 2007. She majors in hispanic studies and world politics.

Dressler leads the Continentals (8-3-2 overall) with 13 goals and 27 points. She set team records for most goals (14), assists (10) and points (38) in a season in 2007. She is a two-time member of the Liberty League all-Academic Team.

Student-athletes need to be at least sophomores in academic standing at their institution to be eligible for the CoSIDA all-Academic Team. They also need to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better on a 4.0 scale.
