Hamilton College defeated William Smith College 9-0 at William Smith's Smith Squash Center on Jan. 28.
The Continentals (6-4 overall) are ranked 17th by the College Squash Association, and the Herons are 23rd. Hamilton hosts Mount Holyoke College and Drexel University on Saturday, Jan. 28. Williams College visits Clinton on Sunday.
All nine wins against William Smith, including Amanda Thorman '13 at the first position and Claire Corroon '13 at second position, were in three straight games. Alexis Lee '13 (seventh position) and Hillary Kolodner '14 (eighth) improved their records to 7-3 this season.
Anne Edelstein '11 moved into first place on the program's all-time wins list with an 11-7, 12-10, 11-7 decision at the ninth position. Edelstein has 47 career victories.
