Women's tennis falls at St. Lawrence

Hamilton College lost 8-1 against St. Lawrence University in a non-conference match played indoors at St. Lawrence's Newell Field House on April 20.

Hamilton (5-6 overall) hosts Colby College on Saturday, April 23, and Bowdoin College on Sunday, April 24, for a pair of New England Small College Athletic Conference matches.

St. Lawrence (8-2) is ranked 16th in the Northeast Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Continentals have played three straight teams ranked in the Northeast.

Sara Shaughnessy '14 won her fifth flight singles match by scores of 6-2, 6-1. Shaughnessy's singles record improved to 7-4.
