Women's tennis loses at No. 4 Amherst

The Hamilton College Continentals lost 8-1 against nationally ranked No. 4 Amherst College in a NESCAC match played in Amherst, Mass., on April 19.

Results

Hamilton (12-6, 1-5 NESCAC) lost for the second time in less than a week against a team ranked in the top five in Division III by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Continentals host SUNY Oneonta for a non-conference match on Wednesday, April 23, at 4 p.m.

Hamilton's Claire Keyte '17 and Mira Khanna '15 won their third flight doubles match 8-6 for the Continentals' team point. Keyte and Khanna are 8-6 as a doubles pair this season, including 8-2 at third flight.

Amherst (15-3, 7-0) won all six singles matches in straight sets.
