Assistant Professor of Chemistry (Physical)
http://www.hamilton.eduThe Chemistry Department invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2013. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the two-semester Physical Chemistry sequence with additional responsibilities in Introductory Chemistry, Research Methods, and/or other courses in the candidate’s areas of expertise. Applicants with expertise and research interests related to experimental Physical Chemistry (Analytical, Environmental, Materials, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Ph.D. and postdoctoral or equivalent experience required. Applicants must be committed to undergraduate education, have an interest in teaching a diverse student population, and demonstrate excellence, or the potential for excellence, in teaching and research with undergraduates. The successful candidate will be expected to guide student research during the summer and advise the required Senior Project during the academic year.
