The HCAYS has an affiliation with the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, through which our students may take a course with Spanish students. Nebrija is a small, private, independent university founded in 1985. It has two main campuses: Dehesa de la Villa (within walking distance from the HCAYS Centro) and La Berzosa. Courses available include European politics, Spanish sociology, the arts, and economics. Year students and spring students may arrange to take such a course at the Universidad Complutense, one of Madrid's finest universities.
All students are encouraged to replace one of their HCAYS courses with an offering in the humanities or social sciences at Nebrija or at the Complutense as a further means of immersion in the cultural and social life of young Spaniards. In addition, the library, sporting venues, clubs, and other facilities of Nebrija are open to those Hamilton program students taking a course with them.
