All students are eligible for on campus employment. While multiple factors are considered in the application process, employers faced with two equal candidates will give preference to a work-study student.
Students must complete a W-4 Tax withholding form. Hiring supervisors must also complete an I-9 Employment Eligibility form and a Work Authorization form. Students and hiring supervisors should use the Student Worker Hiring Process form as a guideline.

Students are paid on a biweekly basis. Pay periods begin on a Monday and end on a Sunday. Students are expected to accurately and honestly record their hours on their timesheet. Timesheets must be signed by both the student and their supervisor. Students are paid the last Friday of the pay period.

All student paychecks will be direct deposited. Paychecks are deposited in the bank account of the student's choice and pay stubs will arrive through campus mail the final Friday of the pay period. The direct deposit process usually takes one pay period to ensure that the account numbers are accurate and the wire transfer can be completed. During this "trial" period a paper check will be generated.
Direct Deposit Form, Students
International students during the school year cannot exceed 20 hours in a week. It is recommended that students limit their work hours to 10-15 a week with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Students should make sure that their on campus employment is manageable and remember that a students' responsibility to their course work should be primary.
