Mount Wild

View of Mount Wild 926 meters with a small unnamed glacier at it's base. Coastline is defined by the left hand end of Mount Wild and the small rock outcrop on the right side of the glacier. This photo was taken just after sunrise 5/24 to establish "ground truth" to accompany the satellite image of ice conditions.

Mount Wild is named for Frank Wild, a member of a number of Antarctic expeditions, including Shackelton's.

Cheers,

Dave
