Dear GOLD Alumni, In the age of multi-million dollar gifts many young alumni have asked, "How does my $25, $75 or $250 gift matter when the financial needs of Hamilton College are so great?" This question is answered by the GOLD Scholars Program. With each $15,000 collectively contributed to the Annual Fund by the GOLD Group, the College selects a GOLD Scholar based on two criteria: financial need and their demonstrated ability to perform to the highest Hamilton standards, both in and out of the classroom. As a direct result of young alumni generosity, GOLD Scholars have the benefit of experiencing life on the Hill. Simply stated, your gift transforms the lives of current Hamilton students. All Hamilton graduates benefited from alumni philanthropy. As you read these stories about our impressive GOLD Scholars, we urge you to remember your own time on the Hill and the doors that were opened for you as a result of those who came before. If you have additional questions about the program or would like to contact one of our GOLD Scholars, please contact Dave Steadman '03. Thank you, Dave Steadman '03 Director of Young Alumni Giving
