  • The Old Print Gallery in Washington, D.C. will present a solo exhibition by Jake Muirhead '86 beginning Nov. 11 with an opening reception from 5-8 p.m. New Prints by Jake Muirhead will feature over twenty etchings, aquatints, and drypoints, exploring landscapes and the human figure. The show runs to Jan. 23, 2012.

The five panelists of the Careers in Entrepreneurship event on Thursday, Sept. 22, epitomize careers based on a balance of passion and smart decision-making. These alumni shared their experiences and advice in a panel discussion sponsored by the Career Center.

  • Spencer Stuart, the international executive recruiting firm, has announced that Isvaldo Perez, Jr. '86 has joined the Dallas officer as a consultant in consumer goods and services and marketing officer practices. He will be responsible for recruiting senior-level executives for clients in the consumer packaged goods, consumer durables and retail industries.

  • Rich Vellante '86, executive chef and executive vice president of restaurants for Legal Seafoods, met with students and discussed “How a Hamilton College Experience Can Craft a Better Cup of Clam Chowder” on Oct. 7 as part of Fallcoming weekend activities. Vellante also visited the Community Farm Garden and 1812 Heritage Garden.
