LITS has updated its contract with Adobe and secured a site license for Creative Cloud. All users with Hamilton College credentials will have access to these applications, including:

  • all public lab computers across campus,
  • laptops and desktop machines loaned by Hamilton College to faculty and staff members,
  • laptops and desktop machines deployed by Hamilton College to faculty and staff members

Hamilton faculty and staff (only) may also install the Creative Cloud suite on no more than two computers, meaning two computers at the College or  one computer at home in addition to one at the College.

Accessing Adobe Creative Cloud applications

A new login method will be utilized to install and use Adobe CC software. Users with an existing/old version will need to uninstall and have the new version installed. See instructions below.

Faculty and staff will have access to all applications from Adobe; students will have a limited account which allows for logging in to Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms. Students may also install the Creative Cloud application on a personal computer, but will have access to a very limited suite of Adobe applications.

On lab and classroom computers, applications that are not accessible on a student Creative Cloud account will already be installed on the machine. This includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and others. There will be a prompt to log in when opening these programs. This prompt may reappear after 90 minutes to remind the user to log in again.
