The Ethel M. and Harold Harper Reed Memorial Scholarship

The Ethel M. and Harold Harper Reed Memorial Scholarship was established in 1979 through a bequest from Mrs. Reed, wife of Harold H. Reed, Class of 1919.

 


Harold H. Reed, a retired sales manager, was a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity at Hamilton. He graduated in 1919 and subsequently worked for 38 years with the Air Reduction Co., advancing through the ranks to become national sales manager. He was a loyal alumnus and served the College as president of the Alumni Council and the Metropolitan New York Alumni Association, as well as class secretary and the annalist for his Class’s 50th reunion. Harold died in 1970.
