The Edmund F. Taylor '82 Scholarship

The Edmund F. Taylor ’82 Scholarship is awarded with preference given to students from the greater metro-New York area who intend to pursue a career in the for-profit sector.

Following graduation from Hamilton with an economics major, Edmund Taylor went on to receive an M.B.A. from New York University. He is currently managing director for Credit Suisse in New York City.

For several years, Mr. Taylor supported the Student Sponsor Partners program for high-need, at-risk high school students from New York City. The program takes promising public school students in 9th grade and provides scholarship support for their attendance at New York City area private high schools. In establishing this scholarship, he intends to provide access to a Hamilton education for qualified students of similar background as those who benefit from the Student Sponsor Partners program.
