Educator Programs

Evening of Art for Educators

The Wellin Museum invites K-12 teachers and administrators to its annual interdisciplinary educational celebration. Participants will explore the Wellin's current and upcoming exhibitions, engage in art making and sketching activities, learn about field trip programs for their classes, and connect with each other over light refreshments. This event is open to all administrators, teachers, and school personnel.

Educator Workshops

The Wellin offers virtual educator workshops to support teacher professional development. Programs emphasize making meaningful connections between art and curriculum, and exploring pedagogical strategies for teaching with art. Workshops draw upon the Wellin Museum's permanent collection and special exhibitions. Topics vary, and will be listed here and on our calendar of events.

Faculty Meeting Presentations

The Wellin is available to present our offerings to your faculty and staff virtually through in-service day presentations and staff meetings. This is a great forum to hear teachers’ ideas and brainstorm about how the Wellin Museum can collaborate with your school.

If you'd like to request a custom workshop or presentation for your team, please contact Museum Educator Marjorie Hurley at mljohnso@hamilton.edu.
