Students take to the ice at Sage Rink for Hamskate in one of many Late Nite programs the College’s Student Activities Office offers. Sponsored in conjunction with a range of student organizations — Hamskate is organized by the Figure Skating Club — Late Nites are alcohol-free alternatives held from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday nights and can draw as many as 250 students. “I like the environment of the Late Nite programs, where I’m not pressured into drinking, and it’s just a fun time to hang out with my friends,” says Juana Gonzalez ’14. “You don’t have to be drunk to have fun.”
