Marie Gamarra is pursuing a master’s degree in European and international studies, with a specialty in American and British civilization, at Paris 3 University (Sorbonne Nouvelle). Previously, she was at Aix-Marseille University and earned her B.A. in applied foreign languages (English and Russian), with a specialty in communication and management. Her last dissertation is about Elizabeth Craven’s travelogue A journey through the Crimea to Constantinople (1786) studying the notion of travel as a tool for female emancipation in the 18th century. During the past year, she was an intern in an art gallery in Paris.
